Furniture Crafters is a custom furniture producer.
As the former owners of Scandia Interiors in San Diego, La Jolla and Lomas Santa Fe,
We bring 45 years of furniture know-how to our enterprise.
We are a small production shop; working on the premises of our home in
Valley Center California. We use some of the finest industrial class machine tools in our machine shop. The bench shop, used for assembly and hand tools, is where the products receive their final touches. We are following the old fashion practice of a logical balance between power tools and hand held tools. In our laser shop we cut highly precise patterns and templates that aid us in precise cutting and shaping.
Our output is very low by industrial standards. The reason for this is simple.
We do not want a large firm.
We prefer to concentrate on the manufacture of one piece at the time. 
In essence, we are returning to a time when small guilds produced fine products without the cumbersome and impersonal nature of a large industrial operation.
The customer will have the advantage of being in contact with the person that actually makes the ordered piece.
